Audi A3 S-Line 2007 or Golf mk5 GT Sport 2008?

Hi guys, looking at upgrading my car.

It's a pick between Audi A3 S-Line 2.0 140/170 or the Mk5 Golf GT Sport 140.

Looking to spend 6-7k. Which is better value for money etc?

Any comments would be appreciated.

I have had both buddy, but in my opinion the A3 s-line was a better finish inside etc.... But both were really good cars to own, the golf would handle better on the corners.
