Hi All, I have RNS-E in 2006 Audi A4. I have aux activated and working fine via a cable I made. I was given a Multimedia Adapter allowing video input but no instructions. Has anyone seen one of these and has a wiring diagram or installation instructions please?
Does the RNS-E need further programming or not?

There are four wires on box red, brown, black and white, don't know where these go ('assume' red +12v?, Brown is Gnd?, other two canbus?)

There is also another connector with yellow camera input and two wires, purple and grey, again not sure where they connect to, although I assure reverse light is one of them.

Grateful for any advice cheers.

yes. i have one. i think its the ami multimedia adapter. those loose wires will plug into the main quadlock on the back of the radio. similar to this Multimedia Adapter IMA Interface RNS-E Symphony 3 Video TV Cable Plug Audi | eBay (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Multimedia-Adapter-IMA-Interface-RNS-E-Symphony-3-Video-TV-Cable-Plug-Audi-/201353131785?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item2ee194f709)

the looms and genuine item can be purchased from here https://www.kufatec.de/shop/en/ima-multimedia-adapter/ima-interface-can

I was lucky, i found a genuine adapter on ebay and only had to purchase the loom from kufatec
