A6 2.0 tdi 2008

New to this forum and really needing help. my A6 2008 2.0TDI will not start, both remote keys inop, no ignition or any electronics and steering lock won't release. I have the battery fully charged and the MMI radio/sat nag etc all turn on. i can't get the doors open except drivers and boot as they work with key blade. My neighbour is an auto electrician but he can't access the fuse box on nearside coz i can't get the door open....
any ice where to start with this, even if its advice on how to get nearside front door open to access the fuse box??

Check both front footwells for damp.
Scan the car with VCDS for logged faults.

You need to check the j329 relay under the dash (drivers side footwell).

Thanks dan2485 for the advice, located the relay and dropped into a local scrappy to get a few on the cheap as the new one was £80 + vat, put one in and it fired up right away....back on the road. Very much appreciated

Thanks for the advice, checked footwells also and both bone dry. managed to get a relay as recommended and its back on the road. thanks of the advice
