p2008 fault code, help needed please

hi, i have a fault code p2008
i beleive it is something to do with the intake manifold on bank 1.
the engine light comes on with that code, i delete the code but the light comes back on after a few days.
i see on ebay there are manifold arm connectors for about £20, do these fix the fault ?
is there any links how to fix it on the 3.0tdi engines.
i have done quite abit of reading on it but still need help.

Apparently the little link rods fall off due to heavy carbon deposits on the swirl flaps, new link rods are available on ebay, you can see them with the aid of a torch by looking down the back of the manifolds.
I looked at the ones on the wifes car and didnt think they looked to hard to do.
Maybe ask the ebay seller if they come with instructions?
