VCDS around Bradford/Leeds

Need someone to check why my Abs and Esp light have come on.

Hiyas, im in bradford, but need some more info on your car, what is it? year? engine? any parts been changed before the lights came on?

A3 2.0 tdi 2004 and nope nothing has been changed, both lights randomly came on one day and never went off. However the esp light comes on only after accelerating above 10mph

I had this fault with a Passat, exactly as you described there, turned out to be one of my front abs sensors. Esp uses them to function iirc so if an abs sensor fails, esp also fails.

I could be wrong but changing them both fixed the issue on mine.

I got the car checked today and it was the rear drivers side wheel bearing.
