Hi all.

Im having issue with my brake pedal.
Pedal is very hard and the car difficult to stop.
i done some research and look like is common problem with the servo drawing water in.
But the other issue is that my car has lost power too on the same time.
Question i have is: is the loss of power related to the servo.

Loss of power i mean i put my foot down and not much happens, car just takes up speed steady.
I checked vacuum pipes, changed tandeem/vacuum pump and still the same.
No faults coming up on diagnostics too...

The car is dangerous and shouldn't be driven until it's fixed. Check the pipes between the vacuum pump and the servo, also test that the vacuum pump is working.

I am scanning with a diagnostic laptop. (Not cheap)
I can see live data of many things.
Brake pressure was around 1.5bar, and when i press goes around 40-50bar
The only thing that comes up is engine mount selenoid.

The servo needs to come out it's fun getting the rod off the brake pedal

you've got a vac leak somewhere, the turbo isn't kicking in,you need to check over the lot,get a vac gauge start near the pump and work outwards, also check the egr and turbo diaphrams.

Update: it was the servo. It was taking air in from the bottom of the servo. Just replaced it and everything is perfect.
Thank for the help everyone.
