Hi everyone, i am new to this site, any help would be appreciated,
I have a A6 1999 2.8 quattro. The Cruise control has started to work when it feels like ithave tried lifting brake pedal etc no change, seems to work more often when the vehicle has been used for an hour or so, thanks Andrew

This could be a broken wire in the steering wheel stork. Tell me what throttle do you have, mechanical or electrical, the latter has a box of tricks above the throttle pedal with an actuator going into it and no throttle cable coming through the bulk head under the bonnet. Email on Info@3DAssociates.co.uk and I'll send you the wiring diagram. Regards Peter

hi peter
I will need to double check but i am fairly sure it has a cable, there is some sort of actuator under the engine cover near to the rear of the heads and a motor for the cruise down under the abs unit if that shines any light on it, if not in the meantime i will confirm if it has a cable or not but fairly sure it has,
thanks for your help
Andrew
