lights on warning buzzer

Has anybody replaced the buzzer/speaker on a B6 cabriolet, I have read the method on Avant/saloon on Audisport.net but as the dash in a cabby is different I wondered if there are any peculiarities with the cabby dash binnacle.

Only done a saloon.
The buzzer over on the ASN write up is quiet. If I was to do it again I would look for a scrap dash pod to raid foe parts.

Hello mate, I have had it out, same principal as the others. no visible faults etc no fauls with any function in the car so must be the buzzer that died

I used a donor dash pod to get a replacement, i simply cut the legs of the old and soldered the new in place all done in an hour.
