Lower rear bumper after tow bar fitting (they made a mess)

So I took my 05 Touareg to have a Westfalia tow bar fitted this morning.. They have cut a HUGE hole in the lower section of the bumper and it looks really crap..

I believe there is a lower bumper section you can get that has a mounded cover flap in it for the towbar?

If that is right does anyone know the where I can get one at the best price?

If your up to it you can buy just the cover flap and it's clips from the dealer and cut out the standard bumper to the correct size. Cover, 7L6807087L 9B9, around £20.

Otherwise buy the complete lower bumper with cover for vehicles with tow attachment. Sometimes they come up on ebay. Note you'll need the correct one depending on whether you have parking sensors or not.

Thanks, I think the hole is already bigger than the cover which is why its a mess.. I will keep an eye on ebay and see if any come up.

The standard cut out is pretty big, it has to be for access to the electrics socket. Here's one I made earlier..;)

I'll have a look when I get back home but I think they have cut more than that away already. good to know that if i can find a bumper without the cut out i can cut it out myself.
