Hi a few weeks ago the car went into limp mode when climbing a hill and the emmissions workshop light came on so took it to my local autoelecy and he looked at the codes and it showed boost pressure regulation control range not reached (16683 - P0299) and egr insufficient flow (16785 - P0401) so he cleared them and i was on my way, as i only drive to work and back (no motorway driving) the light stayed off and the car was fine.

Until yesterday i went on the motorway and at around 75 mph the car went into limp mode so i pulled onto the hard shoulder switched off the engine and restarted...

All was fine until about 10 more minutes exact same thing, so i turned off the motorway and headed back home, on a side road the emmissions workshop light came on so took it back to the elecy and the same codes came up.

Car is still under warranty so want to get it fixed - there are no issues with the car until you get up to that speed.

Also disconnected some pipes to check the EGR and it doesn't look too dirty inside (couldn't remove because i couldn't get to the last bolt) :(

Any thing i can check before i phone the warranty place?

Thanks in advance. Dan

if its still in warranty then don't be touching it as any fettling may hinder things.

But i don't want to be without a car for days whilst it gets sent away if it's just a leaking pipe i can buy myself or something i can diagnose

How could i check the pipe for leaks? i've had a listen under the bonnet but no whislting sounds, would leak detection spray work? haha (the plumbing kind)

personally i wouldn't be spraying something in my engine thats not designed for it.

get it smoke tested although i would just let the warranty company deal with it, they may give you a courtesy car.
