Hi

Just wondering whether it's possible to update maps through the audi connect data connection over 4G? The manual only refers to using an SD card? I have the FL model with tech pack.

Others have said so and the brochure's description would confirm that

Map update online
The map version delivered can be updated free of chargewith the first 5 navigation updates which are issued atintervals of 6 months. In conjunction with Audi Connect,the update can be carried out online in the vehicle




Only issue of course is that will take a fair bit of time and use a big chunk of your data allowance

Incidentally can anyone confirm the approx file size for the latest update. Also does the MMI update software as well as maps or does this require a visit to the dealer?

11gb for the whole lot or about 2gb for UK
