door lock - passenger side

my door lock has finally gave up on me! After groaning to open for a few months now, it now no longer opens from the outside. Opens from inside no problem. Stripped it out and cant see anything wrong. Sounds like it works but i guess a part has worn out.
part number is 8J2837015A, apart from the dealer is there anywhere else that sells these new?

Just had my door lock motor (rear left passenger) replaced under extended warranty ( :biglaugh: ) after exactly the same problem that you're facing.

but sadly can't help you with locating another part. unless you try europarts or some on similar?

Called audi Ipswich and the part is £115 so i'll get it from there.

Fitted in 28min on the driveway - problem solved! Might call Audi to see how much they would have charged for parts and labour!!
