Hello there
I would like to ask if there is a way to disable dynamic turning lights on rear lights on new Audi A6 with VCDS?
Thank you
J.

I'm guessing not as its a specific cluster.

No you can't, you would have to buy the old version and replace them fully. Why do you want to disable it?

Re-reading the thread title, maybe I didn't misunderstand. Do you want to disable the sweeping action of the rear indicators? If so, then just offer to swap your rear light clusters with someone with a pre-FL car. There will be no shortage of takers.

I’m so generous I would even be willing to come to you for the swap :biglaugh:

:)
Thank you guys, but the title was meant to find out if it is possible disable it, because, :)) (dont beat me now) ;)
I am looking for the solution to JUST HAVE the sweeping, dynamic turning lights on rear - taillights :(
I thought there must be some VCDS hack to enable/disable it
The taillights look absolutely the same as taillights that have Matrix LED Headlights (where the dynamic lights on rear - taillights are factory enabled)
Sorry guys If I confused you, really! :( that was the way How I meant it
I would be happy if it could be just softwarely enable/disable on all facelifted Audi A6s 2015 (that I own)
I also LIKE the NEW swiping, dynamic turning lights on rear - taillights :)

Sorry, I’m lost
You want to disable the sweeping indicator at the front, but not at the back?

Hi Guys
I like the new Dynamic lights on tail light, NOT front!
and was curious if it can be disabled on the facelifted Audis A6 that they have it enabled.
Thought that, if someone have found out disabling it on these cars - some long coding, where it could be disabled, I can use this method to enable it on mine
I still believed that on this facelifted Audis 2015 models, have the same LED taillights, that can be programmed via VCDS how to behave - swiping (enabled) or notswiping (disabled)
I hope it can be clear now to understand :(
Once more sorry , I had confused you all
Have a nice day :)

So you actually want to enable the sweeping indicator on your facelift car?
I don’t think many people will be working out a way to disable them so probably best to ask that ;)

No you can't. You have to buy the new lights. There is a semi dynamic function available which is cheaper. Have a look at shop.cetecarcoding.de

Are the standard facelift taillights different from the dynamic ones or is it just the control module that’s changed? Maybe you could just hook up the following to them?
Adaptermodules for A6 Facelift Tail Lamps Dynamic Turning Signal- (http://shop.cetecarcoding.de/en/audi/audi-a6-4g/adaptermodules-a6-facelift-tail-lamps-dynamic-turning-signal)
All I need to do is h̶i̶r̶e̶ ̶a̶ ̶f̶a̶c̶e̶l̶i̶f̶t̶ ̶A̶6̶ source the new taillights :biglaugh:

I think it would just be easier to see videos of what you have, and what you want.
Do your front indicators look like this now, or do you want them to look like this?

My first language is English and I was struggling. Anyway, I’m sure your Norsk and dzankou’s Slovakian (?) is just a little better than mine :biglaugh:
dzankou has a facelift A6 that doesn’t have the sweeping indicators (Dynamic Turning Signal). He was asking if anyone had successfully disabled the feature on a facelift that does have the option so he could try reversing the process and enable it on his car.
It seems his taillights look identical to the ones with the Dynamic Turning Signal so was hoping it could be enabled through VCDS.
Does anyone know if the actual clusters are the same part number as the dynamic ones?

Hello guys
I understand all the background, I have read many forums before posting, here, just wanting to used negative question, from someone who have VCDS and say if there are any special coding on their Audis with Matrix and LED headlights, where they can disable it, to use the same coding on my Audi with Xenon, believing it is only "software thing" :)
to reply chesterfields post:
chester I have Xenon Headlights, which doesnt allow to use dynamic turining lights.
I am not interested to have turning lights IN FRONT headlight, only ON REAR - taillights, which I thought are the same as used in Audi A6 with MatrixLED and LED headlights
cause they look for me really the same

The non dynamic rear lights are different to non dynamic I have retrofitted the dynamic ones part number ending in E
Yes you can code this in VCDS to stop as I had to code it for it to start
Front ones can also be removed but not sure on coding if you disconnect the lin bus wire that will 100% work

Hello,
don´t undestand the first phrase you write. the non dynamic is igual to dynamic? the thaillight is igual? do you have the code yo use to program it to be dynamic? VCDS will be the same as obeleven?
thanks a lot

The non dynamic rear lights are different. physically different to ones with dynamic indicators
Dynamic rear indicators part numbers end with an E

When you fit lights with dynamic indicators you then need to add one wire to each cluster from the comfort module and then it is possible to code using VCDS or OBD 11
