Hi guys,
Anyone done any vcds mods to their new A6?
2015 A6 S-Line Black Edition Ultra, S-Tronic, Black Leather, Bose, MMI Plus with Touch, Ambient lighting pack, 20" Twin spoke Wheels, Mythos Black Metalic.
Most of the ones in the sticky should work apart from the vim mod.

Hi Kev
I'm a FL A6 owner in Sligo and would be interested in vcds for my car. Did you have any luck anyone in this area?

Hi youngsid,
No luck. I tried fk performance out in carraroe as I thought he'd have one but no luck.
I'm in Sligo too. When did you get the car?

I traded a 2012 sline in Connollys, sligo. I bought a daytona grey sline 190ps stronic. Pretty standard model. Very happy with Connolly's customer care
What about you?

I got a black sline black edition 190 stronic. Was tempted to go for the Daytona. Lovely colour!

Hi lads,
I've got vcds but I'm living in Drogheda if your ever up this direction. I had another member from this forum drop up to have some tweeks done.
Currently have a 2.0 tdi sline saloon which i just sold. Purchasing a s line avant 3.0tdi 204ps. Going to send my crdt+tuning unit back to be retuned for the 3.0.

Hi jcdub
thanks for the reply. Once your unit has been retuned for the 3.0 will it be usable with the 2.0?
What types of tweeks have you done in the past?

Hi Youngsid,
No the unit will only be setup for the 3.0 tdi. I had tought about selling the unit and getting the 3.0 remapped with torquetronics instead as the cars warranty will be just up. The current car will be taken by the new owner on Mon-Tue. Hoping to have the 3.0 within a week or two
The CRDT+ unit had given a nice increase in power on the 2,0tdi. So I'd be more than happy to get it retuned for the 3.0tdi if I where to keep it

Hi jcdub,
How much extra power did you get on to 2.0
Kevin.

I'd say I was getting 210-215bhp and an extra 50-60lb-ft of torque. I'm getting an extra 4-5mpg too.
Are you thinking of tuning yours?

Was looking at the bluefin option. They say about 30 bhp and about 60nm extra. That would bring it up to around the 220bhp mark. I think it cost around 500 sterling.

I had the bluefin for a week on a A6 C6. Wasn't impressed.
It's flashes the software into the ecu. The dtuk unit works with the ecu's original settings. Won't affect your warrant.

That's good to know. What price is the dtuk one? Is it diy or do you have to get them to fit it.

It's £390 which is around €550. My unit is around 6 months old if you where interested i might be up for selling it. It's would go back to dtuk to be reprogrammed. The original wiring will fit your car. PM me if you'd be interested. As i said before I'm undecided.
If you have warranty left on your car is not worth remapping your car. This can be removed in 5 minutes. Pity the car is going mon, tue. You could have drove it with and without the unit turned on to compare.

No probs. my car is only a couple of months old so I'm not fully decided if I'll go for it :-/. Would be nice to have a bit more poke though.

If you decide you'd like more power and want to maintain your warranty don't get a remap as it will be detected. The bluefin also flashes the ecu and can also need detected. The only option is a tuning box.
Decided to keep mine and send it back to be reprogrammed for the 3.0 tdi..
