Recently got a 1999 (pre facelift) B5 S4. Trying to get better braking out of it I upgraded the front brakes to a budget big brake kit (B6/B7 S4 calipers with Ferodo DS2500's & EBC USR rotors) now i'm looking to do something with the rears and wondered what people might suggest?
Guessing the obvious option might be to try and get hold of the vented and slightly larger facelift carriers and callipers but i'm finding these impossible to find.
Another option might be to just replace the solid rear rotors for a fresh set with some yellow stuff pads. Thoughts?
I also have some brackets and longer lines to take the elusive facelift set up from 256mm to 300mm rear disc but...hearing mixed reviews about negatively effecting braking bias. Hoping someone here might have tried this or have any experience with these set-ups.
