I've been checking regularly to see if there's any more posts on the Q7 page, but there seems to be a silence, does this mean we own the best car on the road and relatively trouble free, or we are all out enjoying our cars and don't have time to post on here, more than happy with mine even started to restore my 73" vw beetle again for something to tinker with.

I'm looking to get the new Q7 (after I get to see one) but can't find any forum comments and thoughts to it with all spec and prices now announced...seems current Q7 drivers are as you say enjoying their cars!

They are just well thought out and well made, they tick so many boxes for what they can do being so versatile, they are in a league of their own, I've seen people on other sites wanting to buy a new vehicle but being stuck because nothing else compares.

Hey there,
Well, I'm speculating a combination of a few factors:
1. Most Q7 owners are pretty successful people who have pretty busy lifestyle. So they would post issues only if it's pretty major?
2. Generally i think the Q7 is pretty well made, so not much issues to contend with
3. Because the Q7 is a monster (or pig) to drive, owners don't really push it that hard (vs a A4 or A6) hence less issues
4. I think there aren't that many Q7s around as compared to other Audi models
I'm still alive too by the way! Just not really posting much.
Cheers.

Hey Guys,
I'm a bit torn at the moment with my Q7, front 2 struts keep dropping after its left for while, I think it could be the compressor as ive covered the struts and lines with soapy water and havent seen a hint of a bubble. Trying to self diagnose at the mo as I dont fancy paying the garage prices out here until i really really have to. If that problem can be fixed then itll be kept and i can fix the other issues (hopefully).
There doesnt seem to be many issues like this on Q7 forums, seen similar issues on the all road forums which is pointing me towards the compressor to.
But other than that I have to agree nothing else come close to the looks or performance I love the car, nothing looks as good even in the new market (well within my budget) just hope I can fix it.
