Hi all, just after a quick bit of advice again, my car has succumbed to the dreaded death rattle timing chain issue as it is a golf gt 1.4 tsi...
iv iv been told it's the timing chain tensioner, but the garage iv taken it to on the recommendation of a friend have said that the bill would be £1200 all together, when questioned he said he's adding a new chain new tensioners along with new coils oil etc.. Basically it sounds like he's adding everything in he can, I just wanted a bit of guidance as to how much it should be and if this is an average quote... Also if the others things are a necessity!? :)) many thanks guys as always!
