Hi All...
Had my A6 ultra remapped today by ECOTuning.co.uk via the OBD port.
I took the car there last week for them to look at and see if they could read the ECU data ok.
I got a call the next day to say they successfully read the ECU data and were able to rewrite it and reapply it.
I'd talked to the guy and said I was looking at a gain of around 20% but no more than 25%....
This was easily possible and we felt it keeps it well within the tolerances of the drive train etc.
This was my second time using ECOtuning having had my Golf GTD DSG done 2 years ago.
I had the same 20% added to the GTD which gave me about 200 bhp and 420 nm.
Initial thoughts are very positive, the car really pulls now. With it been a big / heavy car the feeling of speed isn't as obvious
until you look at the speedo compared to the GTD. Power gains are estimated to be at 230 bhp and 480 nm
Fuel figures for the 8 weeks I've had the car are around the 40 MPG and this is using the fill to fill methods, which seems to be very close to the cars own long term figure, only time will tell if this improves....
Thx
