audi a4 b6 roof problem :(

hi guys. im new to the forums here so hello to everyone. hoping someone on here could give me a little bit of information, have a roof fault, roof operates how it should but when rear boot canopy opens fully everything just stops working, so it does majority of the operation but fails at the last bit, been to a friend who works for audi and its giving fault code 0200 implausible signal. does anyone know which microswitch is broken or what the problem could be? otherwise its paying him to look into it more and go through everything. many thanks. mike

Kite is quite right, but I think that is mostly helpful for the B4 cabby rather than the B6

On mine it was the wiring that runs through the hinge in the boot, they become frayed or fractured and just stop it working at certain stages or stop altogether.
