Hi all. I've got a '10 S-Line A4 B8 tdi Cr 143 with 80k on the clock. I really like the car but it always seemed a bit sluggish on the pickup so when I took it in to my local independent dealers to have the cam belt and brakes done I also got them to remap it. The remap has, according to the blurb, put it up to 180 bhp and 400nm torque.
The car is great now and drives really well but I am getting some clutch slip in 4th, 5th and 6th. I suspect the clutch isn't great anyway because of the mileage and also I used to be able to make the clutch slip now and then prior to the remap.
The question I've got is if I get a new OEM clutch and associated flywheel etc.. will it be able to handle the remapped power and torque? I'm thinking it should be able to but just wanted to check what the forum thought.
