A4 B6 Avant - Reart door skin from saloon

Can anyone confirm if the skin from a rear door of an A4 B6 saloon will fit and Avant. I appreciate the window frame etc is different but have been told in the past that the actual door skin are the same for both

As you say , the window assembly is different but the door bottom is the same

Hi Thanks for that, hope you do not think this rude but is that based on part number or experience of swapping one or just looking and saying yeh they look the same ;)

Fair comment mate, it is only what I have read when others have asked the same question and been answered by our resident experts, ie guys who I strongly trust.
Having said that you would certainly be prudent to research it more thoroughly, and I dont think it rude, just smart, good luck matey
