Hi all new to this, I have 3.0 Quattro v6 petrol can anyone give me some pointers of how to get a fuller sound from the v6. I'm not looking for anything vulgar like how some do with impreza's etc just something to eccentuate that v6 in lower revs.

welcome.
an aftermarket exhaust such as a milltek should do what you want. just be aware of the law as its actually illegal to make an exhaust louder than what it was type approved at.

Thank you I'm not looking for a louder sound as such just can't hear the v6 at low revs just as it goes towards 3,5-4 k. How do people get away with having those after market blasters if its illegal??

i have no idea to be honest. i have been looking into it lately though after getting pulled ad told my exhaust is too loud on the s4. its actually 80db which is well below the 82 or 86 legal lmit depending on who you talk to, and below the 90 limit they use to prosecute you. but although its never really quoted, t is illegal under the construction and use thing to make it louder than stock , so just soemthing to be aware of, but as i said, something like a milltek will do what you want t to and sound lurveerly.

Wonder how it works with the BiTDI speakers as mine is now pretty loud but its technically not the exhaust? Its a speaker?
They will have to catch me first lol

Thanks, I'll look into that. Shame it sounds awesome at high revs but really conservative at the low end. Love the V grumble
