wow what a car, It drove faultlessly with no rattles or noises and the suspension wasn't too harsh. 07 plate with 114k and fsh. The guy genuinely seems to have looked after it with all new pads and discs last year and a folder with all his receipts.

things to consider...
no front parking sensors
no folding mirrors
no ami
im not sure if £7000 is a touch high.

so tempted to make an offer.

Hi. Personally I don't miss front parking sensors on mine but rear are very useful. Never use my folding mirrors and use dab most.

Use cap valuation to get idea of a reasonable price. Bear in mind if the car is good don't loose it for sake of a couple of hundred pounds. A bad one will eat money. can you find the build date to verify it has the revised and more reliable bits on it and has it been regularly serviced, preferably not long life?

Keeping all the receipts is a good sign though.

Good luck with it all and keep us posted.

Can't argue with you there Andy, i just always want every option, there are some with them all but I just have a good feeling about this one...it even has my initials in the number plate!

only slight negative is in the service history. It went from 60k - 85k between services

An 07 should have had all of the revisions, also it will fall into the lower tax bracket.

25k between one service may not be an issue if all of the rest were on the money.

For comparison I paid £8.5 for my quattro (albeit SE spec) with 78k on the clock back in Aug 2012

You know anyone locally that would do a VCDS scan for you?

finding one with the options you want and within the budget/year you want will be difficult. either up your budget or lower your "wants" list.

Go for it!
Same year and model as mine, I have no front sensors and have no issue except for when She crashes it.
Ami simple retro fit as i did
Folding mirrors, don't worry.
25k interval, of everything else good your probably on to a winner

I think I ill go for it.

Bops6, ho much did it end up costing to retrofit folding mirrors? I'm guessing I would need new mirrors ith motors in them and the window switch?
