Hi everyone!
I wonder if anyone can give me some advice. I had a flat tyre the other day and was rescued by my Dad who put the spare on for me. Since then and now we seem to have lost the spanner/wrench type tool (sorry dont know what its called!) used to remove the locking wheel nuts, does anyone know what I can do next??
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Thanks so much
Lucy x

Go to a VW dealership ( Pullman - used to be Mill Garages, if you're that Fulwell side of Sunderland) who has a master key socket set to remove the old locking nuts, and supply you with a new set of nuts and key.
I had same problem on a car I bought a few years back in Sunderland, previous owner then found the key in a bag months later.

Thanks so much for your reply Rob, really appreciate it! Do you remember if it was expensive to get the old nuts removed/new ones put in?
Thanks again :)

Off top of my head i seem to remember around £45 for new nuts and 10 minutes to remove old ones, maybe £15 labour can't remember exact though.
An independent garage might do it cheaper but can make a mess of the wheels if they don't have the proper key sockets. Worth having a good hunt round first for your key!

Keep saying nuts - they're actually bolts, same difference though, they all hold the wheels on.
