Morning all,
I am hoping to buy an Audi Concert Radio CD Player for my 2000MY A4 Avant and I could do with a part number so I get the correct one.
Would really appreciate any help or if you have one for sale.
Thanks
Noony.

This time last year I was looking for the exact thing!
I didn't really bother with the part number, as there are probably lots of different part numbers out there but in fact the radio unit is near or exactly identical.
Few things I looked out for:
Blaupunkt is the main bran which makes radio unit for B5 era.
Appraently Blaupunkt is notorious for the volume control to go bonkers; it goes full volume randomly and you can't control it.
I vaguely remember reading about some models were made in Japan and they don't have the volume issue
Different variations exist: gamma ( from old 80 models, no LED), Concert I, Concert II (I think this is with CD not cassette)
Watch out for BOSE radio unit; you will have to work with VCDS to get all the speakers working, and some don't even work if you don't have BOSE speaker as standard on your car.
MAKE SURE: you get the code with it. Otherwise it's as good as a brick from 2000.
It's useful to buy the handbook if the unit doesn't come with it (only £5 or so on eBay).
There are lots of second-hands going on eBay for as little as £10 to £150+. Usually auction goes for around £40-60, usually at higher price if with the code.
I could be wrong on some of the information. I'm sure the wiser forum users will correct me.
I hope this helps, and good luck!

As far as I know an Audi Concert of that vintage is a radio cassette head unit with CD changer control and the numbers would typically be 4B0 057 186 C, D or E and 4B0 035 186 C, D or E. This one seems to not have CD but the front panel is similar.

Thank you for the replies folks,
Basically I am trying to get it to look original and I think that is the one in the pic I am after. I also have a cage/mounting box in the rear for the cd changer.
How will I know if it is a bose system in my car?
Currently there is an ugly aftermarket CD player fitted and the rear speakers don't work.
Tara for now

You would have BOSE on the speaker grilles.

Oooh have ya now?? Is it in fully working order with code? Does it suffer with the dreaded volume issues?
How much you want for it?
Noony.
p.s. My speaker grilles don't have Bose on them so I guess mine is a standard system.

It was working fine when I removed it, Someone had already removed cd changer from my car, I do have the code card for it and the volume was working fine. I'm just about to go and do a load of work on the car i.e oil, filters, sparks, oil temp/level sensor, and drivers side outer CV boot if I get time i'll get it out and test it and post back :)

Yep, that's the one I bought.
Buy one of those cassette tape adapter with phone jack attached, connect your phone/portable mp3 payer via phone jack and presto, your old cassette unit plays anything you want.
I digged my post when I bought it and had a little trouble getting sound from the rear speakers. It resolved with using VCDS so it's perfectly fine now.
