Auto Gearbox Problem

Hi Guys
i have only had my car for a week Audi Quattro 2.5 auto gearbox 2002 .. The problem I have is on 3 occasions I select drive and then drive it sticks in first gear and don't change if i then stop and put into park then re-select drive it's fine drives with no issues ... Like I say it's happened a few times but can't understand why? :1zhelp:
Any help on this please THANKS

Has it had the ATF changed?They are supposed to be reliable hope yours isn't the exception

Change the fluid with genuine VAG ATF & hope! If that doesn't solve it £££££££'s

Atf is the fluid in the box.Audi can do it .

Far from reliable, & especially if it's a multitronic which are notorious for failing.

Its a Quattro so will be tiptronic usually no bother .Shame it didn't show on a test drive
