Hi, new to the forum and would appreciate some advice. I'm interested in an A4 2.0 TFSI Quattro Black edition and would love to know if the Audi Drive Select and Variable Dampers makes a big difference to the ride. I found the ride a bit firm on a test drive of a car with normal suspension. I've driven a BMW 3 series MSport with the adjustable suspension and it made a big difference. Does anyone have experience of this and is it reliable? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks

I have the same question and would really like to see some opinions. Just started going through the various specifications with a view to buy an Avant as either S line or Black Edition.

It's not the same car: I have a 163 Technik, but I decided to add Drive Select to mine.
Around town I usually use Efficiency mode but if I switch to Dynamic it goes like *hit off a *hovel!

Drive Select adjustable dampers does make a difference but I wouldn't call it 'big'. Comfort is softer than normal but I would still regard it as fairly firm - it is never a floaty ride and I wouldn't really want it to be. Dynamic certainly tightens things up. No amount of words will accurately describe what it means to you - you need to experience it yourself.
