A4 Saloon Boot (Fast opening)

Does anyone have the problem with there boot opening super fast? I can open mine via the remote but it opens quite violently.

Is this a common problem, can retrofit parts be fitted to resolve this?

Mine is a 2.0 Tdi Saloon 2008.
