Hey guys!

So i have finally got an Audi A4 and i the end went for a 2.0L SE FSI Avant on a 53 plate!
It has 120,000 miles on the clock with cam belt and water pump change, FSH and also 12 months MOT!
I paid £1350 Which i reckon, if i am not mistaken was a bit of a bargain:)

A couple of bad points though are that the ashtray cover doesn't stay shut and also the warning triangle cover keeps popping open everytime i open the boot as the clips snapped. Any ideas where i can get replacements?

And also any nice mods that anybody would recommend? Obviously the cheaper the better! But I'm pretty open to whatever suggestions you lot have!

Thanks, Josh:)

Warning triangle clips, most dealers have them in stock, I doubt you will find a "third party" part that will save any money and if you go to a breakers chances are it will already be broken (or will get broken taking it off). Very common problem as if you slam the boot down with something in the way that clip breaks. Get two and keep the other in with the warning triangle for next time....

No idea about the ashtray, not a problem I have had or seen.

Ashtray cover is very expensive new - I took mine out and reversed the spring so instead of "auto open" it auto closes - don't smoke so no biggie but looks better closed. You could try ebay.

Clip to hold warning triangle cover for avant - 4B9 867 799 colours are 4pk - black, 24s - grey, 6ys - blue, p40 - Jive, EC3 - Platinum

Hope this helps,

W.

I have only ever been offered and bought a black one, no idea why you would want a coloured one as you only see it when the flap is open.
