Yes folks, that's right. Now the dust is settling on the new facelift C7 it's time to start looking forward to the new C8. I know it's a long way off, ish, but. If you are even slightly interested, look at the Audi Prologue. Yeah, before you say it, I know its still concept and yes I know it's tagged as an Audi A9, but and it's a big but, many of it's styling cues and at least some of it's techno wizardry is slated to be included in the C8. Who knows, some of you may even be sitting in one of these within five years. Something to look forward to.

I'm sure I read somewhere on the net that Audi have already got the design agreed and finalised (subject to a few tweeks) for the new A6 C8 and as you have mentioned many styling points have been taken from the A9 concept. If the reports on the net are to go by C8 launch could possibly be as early as 2016 early 2017.

I think the consensus is that the C8 will launched towards the end of 2017 at the earliest (effectively 6 years after the C7 was launched) with the A7 replacement coming a little earlier. Audi have a lot of other cars (facelifts and replacements) to launch in the meantime - A1 facelift and A4, Q7 all this year, A5 next year, R8, A8, Q3 and Q5 and possibly a Q1 - plus the A9 and any other new niches they can come up with

http://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=26678&stc=1I think that the rear looks similar to the last Saab 9-5 which was in production for a short time before they went bust.
