Hi Being a thumbs only bloke when it comes to anything more complicated than change a headlight bulb and liking the idea of the projector retrofit that's often discussed, i was trawling to se if i could get any assistance and found these GUYS (http://www.headlightretrofits.org.uk/). Has anyone had any expericence with them? Prices are quite reasonable and they'll provide all the resources (new headlamps) should you require them so you can keep your car on the road.

Note that I only want the projector fit not all the other options.

If you don't have HID'S fitted you need to install washers etc 240.00 wouldn't go far

I'm in the process of doing this my self and after reading many threads it seems the OEM retrofit is very expensive and the washers are recommend, but for a re-fit of a projector into a halogen headlight, provided you are fitting a projector and HID which provide a correct beam pattern, then the washers are not required to pass MOT.

I am buying a headlight on eBay, fitting my projector to that, if it works perfectly then I will pull the other side from the car and do the mod to it and fit the new lights.

If I don't like the beam pattern, the angle is off or any other issue, I can pull the slave light back out pop the original back in and carry on driving while I work on the light off line.
