Hi folks

I currently own a big single turbo supra 590hp. Soon to be a dad though so on the look out for an S4 Avant with some milteks etc so it's still a bit of fun and can transport the family. Thought it would be best to join the forum and gather some info on these cars before I take the plunge. Once my Supra sells I should have a budget of around 10,500 to 12k to look for an S4 :) Some pics of my current car.....

welcome. thats a big turbo you got there, bet thats a bit laggy. the old s4 is the best, the b5 like mine with the 2.7 bi turbo lump. no lag on that. your budget would get you into an rs4 from that era though, same engine but tuned by cosworth, 380 bhp stock and good for 750 with some mods, and only in avant form so perfect for a growing family. they upset just about anything on the road, even highly strung supras.

It's not laggy at all mate. Full boost from 3000rpm it's really quick spooling. I'd be looking at getting a 56 plate or 07 Avant the girlfriend needs to drive it as well bud.

I picked up my S4 saloon 06 plate two years ago for your budget, you should pick up something nice. It took a while to find one I was prepared to buy. Don't regret it a bit. They are fantastic cars.
I have replaced the front suspension mounts after an mot advisory. I suppose you need to check them before you part with cash.
