fix broken bonnet handle

Hi, can anyone help with pointers on how to fix a broken bonnet release handle. I damaged it pulling it to release bonnet when weather was really cold, must have been frozen up to a degree, it did open but there is no cable attached to the interior lever now :aargh4:. Trouble is I cant see how to get the bonnet handle off or the plastic trim surrounding it. I have tried looking for manuals for this model car ( Audi a4 2.0tdi 2009 ) but no joy. Anyway, erWin is the official Audi online manual, you put your VIN in and will give you the EXACT workshop pages for your car, or Bentley Publishers do an American factory manual. Even though it's American, you can very easily work out what's what.
