keyless entry door sensor part number ?

does anyone know the part number to replace the keyless entry sensor for the rear passenger door handle for ( vin 8k79axxxxxx)

all help much appreciated

Your VIN tells me it is a 2009 model - and that's right on the cut-off of having the older type or new ones. I can't remember part numbers; but the older ones were a cream colour and the new ones are a black plastic. The cream ones used to get porous. I had all four of mine changed under warranty, even though only one failed.

So your best place to buy is going to be the dealer, you don't want someone else's problem. :)

cheers - its a 2008 but did have all replaced under warranty last year, wonder if they replace with new version ???
