Hi,I have been in the process of lowering my a6 sline 3.0tdi Quattro auto 2005 .Changed rear springs first no probs.Got to drivers front got the dreaded pinch bolt out ,changed spring ,back in.Right this bit I think might be the prob but could do with your input fellas. When I pushed the bottom of the brake disc before bolting everything together I noticed the drives shaft was out at the gearbox end had to turn it a bit to get it to go back in.It was in park so I gathered if I can rotate the shaft it's not in.Anyway everything bolted up.Car battery was flat so had to jump it.When I got it running as I took her out of park I heard a grinding noise ,when in drive nothing ,put it in reverse the car creeps back just noticeable. So basically no gears what so ever and when put in park grinding noise can be heard.Had no problems like this before lowering.Passenger wheel has still got original spring has have not got round to that side yet.Plus changed wheels from 18s to 19s but surely cannot be that.Does the driveshaft have some sort of sensor on it that the driveshaft has to be put in correctly aligned .Nothing on dash showing up .Everything as normal and all gears showing up on dash as I select them. Please help us out..
