Steering Wheel Squeak

My 2007 A6 has had an intermittent squeak at the steering wheel for a while now. Every so often when I turn it, it squeaks as though there's some rubber/plastic rubbing.

Any ideas what could be causing it?

I've got the same problem but read the thread in the link above fully - not all the squeaks were solved.
