Not sure if this is normal, but my car sometimes feels a bit un-responsive, when pulling away if I put my foot down to get out a bit quick it seems to think for a bit then decide to go, also gear changing doesn't seem as smooth as it used to be
on another issue the front cigarette lighter has stopped working I have changed he fuse, but still not working, not that I smoke but use for charging phone.

Hey Peter,
That could be many things, including perception. How's the service history and mileage, could be something simple like a clogged air filter. Also remember the cooler weather could have an impact. Is it auto or manual.
Do you have a feel or measurement of the MPG, has it got worse?
If you can a VCDS scan may highlight something.
As to the fuse, was the old one blown? If not either not that or maybe you changed wrong one. If a good one goes in then blows, put a known good new one in, then remove and test. If blown then you have a wiring or lighter socket isssue, if not but blows when you plug charger in, try another charger.
Hope this helps in some way.

Cheers Andy car is an automatic, service done within the last 2000 miles, MPG has now dropped to 24 to 25, but only short trips. Glow plugs on 1 & 2 not working, will do a scan & see what comes up.

Here is my scan, now only showing glow plugs on 1 & 2, and alarm faults. managed to sort out heated passenger door mirror thanks to advice from another forum member advising removing the mirror & checking connections, A6 seem to be plagued with poor electrical connections.
anyone have any idea's with alarm faults

Some of those codes are old, clear and rescan.
You may have a sticking brake maybe? Have you been driving any other more powerful car lately?

Hi Chris, this scan is after clearing the faults, I have been "driving" in sport & manual modes recently, so maybe going back into full automatic mode just seems a bit sluggish??

Could just be.
As for the fault codes look on Ross Tech Wiki page Category:Fault Codes - Ross-Tech Wiki (http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/Category:Fault_Codes)
Or type the fault code ie "01134 rosstech" into google. Some codes might not be documented so still google as someones bound to have it before :)

I noticed an improvement in responsiveness
1) After a remap
2) After changing my air filter
3) After a double dose of millers power ecomax
4) After a transmission fluid/filter change
5) When the car's just been polished and waxed :)
Dropping kids to school (just 2 mile round trip) I still return 30mpg & hardly ever use S mode except for a 5 second burst each day 30-60,with foot to the floor on a 60mph stretch of road!

Hi Peter, sorry to hear of your issues
Firstly, I'm sure you're aware that mpg will drop considerably in the winter months, could be a factor to consider.
I can't see if you mention current mileage ( sorry if I missed it ) that would be good to know
You say it's just been serviced, by who and what service was carried out?
If by Audi or perhaps even an Indy, they don't always change air filter every service, around 40k iirc, so double check, if not, for the sake of not many ££ I'd recommend changing it.
By the same token, has the fuel filter been changed at the service? Worth considering as again not many ££
Also as an Auto, depending on mileage you may be due transmission fluid service, worth checking??

Current mileage about 9K, oil & filter, air filter & fuel filer al changed by indy, there are very mixed replies on changing the transmission fluid, what are your thoughts on it

9k??
I would guess you mean 90k??
If so a transmission fluid change at around every 40k iirc, so due at 80k......has it been done?
Has the glow plug issue been resolved yet?

Got new glow plugs just need to fit them, I have looked through the service book, no mention of transmission fluid change.
Keep having problems with typing only on this site key strokes keep missing

It's not part of the service regime that's why.
Look in the forum support section, the problem has been investigated and a resolution posted.
