Hi I've got a golf and the alarm keeps going off all times of day and night.
How can I lock the car with out arming the alarm? Or turn off the auto locking so I can leave the car unlocked.
I would like to just disarm the alarm till I can get it into the garage during the week to have it fixed but still have the car locked.
Try locking the car with the motion/anti tamper turned off, this is done by pressing the button in the 'B' pillar as you get out and then locking the car as normal. This is normally used for transporting the car, but it also may point to a fault on the alarm system.

Hi yes I have tried that I believe it to be the bonnet catch or something like that for now I just want to turn the alarm off so I don't upset the neighbours anymore.
Last resort is to take the cap off the lock on the drivers door and use the car key.. I have never had to do this so I donot know what will happen, I only know that is in reverse situations that is the method of emergency entry..
