Not hot air on one side of car

I've got an 02 plate A4 which has been fine since I bought it in February. However, now it's getting colder I've discovered that I can't get any hot air through the vents on the driver's side of the car. The passenger side is fine. This applies to the top, middle and bottom vents.


Any suggestions would be gratefully received, particularly considering I got drenched in the rain this morning and had to drive into work cold and wet!

Hi Hagis, wounded if you had any joy with your heater problem as i have the same problem with mine, any ideas would be appreciated.

Hi James,

The heater is working fine at the minute, the motor that controls the air flow sticks occasionally. I think it's about a £60 part. Unless it completely packs in I'm going to leave it, it's not gone wrong for a while now. I don't think it's a big job - if you search the forum for actuator you should fine a few other posts.
