Hi folks. I'm getting a new A6 in January. It will be Ibis white on the outside and it will have fine ash wood trim on the inside. The dash, steering wheel and carpets will be black. Should I go for:

a. black leather with silver headliner
b. black leather with black headliner
c. nougat leather with silver headliner
d. nougat leather with black headliner

I'm leaning towards d. myself but perhaps a. would be better. Any opinions would be appreciated. Cheers!

That's a lot of black - could feel a bit claustrophobic, no?

To be honest I prefer the interior of my A3 compared to my A6. Black seats/silver headliner v Black seats/black headliner in the A6!

What do you think of the nougat option?

I don't mind it personally. Ideal world would be the half black/silver leather on the Exclusive line of options.

Black rooflining looked a bit of black overkill when I got mine (with black seats, black carpets and aluminium look dash panels) but I barely notice it now. Stays cleaner I suppose.

got to have the black headliner in my opinion

Looks cleaner long term and allows the interior to flow better as the plastics are black and looks daft with the cream headliner starting from dashboard etc

If as you said on another post (last week) that you have already ordered the car (with the Nougat interior) and you are expecting the car to be delivered in January you are quite possibly already past the point at which the order can be changed (if you have a build week then that is almost certainly the case) since your car will need to be built either before Christmas or immediately in the New Year

Apparently today is my last chance for a spec change. Build is in week 2. The dealer had several cars in the pipeline so it was only a case of changing the spec. But if I try to change after tomorrow it will mean a whole new order and I can forget about Jan delivery.

Black/Black/Black every time, and if you think it might look too dark you need to look through the windscreen instead. :) Plus you could always add a sunroof at the same time to let the light in!
