Hi,
After lurking about this site for quite a while and using some excellent 'how to' guides (retro fitted ami to my previous a4 avant, successfully I might add!) I have eventually decided to join and become involved, hoping to trade and share hints and tips on the models.
I have been the owner of a 2007 Skoda Octavia VRS, a 2012 a4 avant 1.8tfsi 170bhp s line, current owner of a 2014 Audi a4 avant 2.0tdi 177bhp Quattro manual black edition, which is soon to be chopped in for 2015 a6 avant 2.0 tdi Ultra manual black edition in glacier white with pan roof and heated front and rear seats.:D Some might say more money than 'The Beatles,' but I like to think each car has been bought at the right price to warrant the change!:confused:
The new wheels will be ready in January but I've made arrangements with dealer that he'll hold it til 1st March for me.
I've been reading various threads about lead times on these cars and can honestly say by ringing around several dealers that lead times vary drastically. I only placed the order yesterday and could collect in January if I really wanted to. All this was done with a saving of £8700 off the list price! So as I said earlier I like to think that each change of car has been done at the right price! Roll on March cos the new a6 looks the business:o
