A4 Black Edition 136

Hi All,

can an anyone compare an A4 S Line 143 Manual with a Black Edition 136 Manual in regards to refinement, mpg, and handling please.

I may may have a chance to purchase a 136 having owned a 143 previously.

Not much difference between the 136 and the 143. In fact some prefer the 136 over the 143 enginewise.
As far as I know the only difference between the s line and the black edition otherwise is trim related and of course the B&O sound system in the black edition.

After going through troubled times at work, a light appeared at the end of the tunnel. I'm coming back to Audi after my brief stint in a mini.

I had an A4 B8 before, owned from new and loved it. I had an A6 BE in 2013., also from new, Loved that, but only owned it for a year. Perhaps I panicked and got rid of the A6 too soon when my employer announced cuts and potential administration , however SWMBO was a big factor in that panic.

The good news

I now have a 2011 A4 BE in Ibis White on its way to me this week. It's a 136ps so a little down on what I'm used to, but such a lovely car and a good bridge between my old S Line and BE. The Bang and Olufsen does sound crispier than the Bose on the A6, I look forward to it......
