Hi all.
Just bought myself a 52 plate ibiza cupra sport.
PD130 model.
It's high mileage at 178k but I'm not too bothered by this.
What bothers me is the windscreen wipers.
When they stop, they then creep back up the windscreen a couple of inches so don't sit down where they should.
They do this no matter what setting they're used on!
Any ideas?
Thanks

usually the relay causing them to park in the wrong place.

I can fix this for you only 400.00 plus vodka and tonic or...
Take Zollaf the indestructible's advice and fit a new relay yourself

my audi 80 did the exact same thing when i first had her. a new relay sorted that out. the relay parks the wipers you see.

Excuse my idiocy
where is it?
ive found some on the drivers side behind the compartment but nothing double sized.
is there another place for relays? I've noticed I can't hear the indicators clicking so assumed that relay is elsewhere also.
Ive acquired another relay but I'm not sure if it's even a wiper one so need to obviously remove mine too confirm
cheers

I think on the Ibiza (like the VW Polo), the wiper relay is an internal part of the power supply control unit and can't be replaced on it's own.
