rattle noise

Hi folks,
Have a rattle noise when i rev the car its coming from the air filter box. The noise appears to be there as the rev slows.no loss of power climbs gears very well. any ideas folks?
2002 Audi a4 sport 130bhp.

is your air con compressor under the box,could be a loose pulley,other than that you'll have to be more specific.

Turn your aircon on and see if the rattle is still there if it goes with aircon on it's your pulley on the compressor.
