Hi all,
What's everyone's opinion on the value of an A6 Le Mans special edition. It's has FASH 6 months MOT 4 months tax and 90k on the clock. Bodywork in good nick and all alloys fully refurbished. Tyres around 5mm all round.
What should I expect to get on a private sale?

 well, that would largely depend on the year?

Auto or manual, Avant or saloon.

Hi,
Google CAP valuations, you can then put in all your info, mileage, extras etc and get an idea there. CAP used by most dealers if you are trading it in. For private sale I'd use this as a starting point and monitor what other similar cars are selling for.
Hope it helps.

I really should have put a bit more thought into the post! It's an Avant auto!

Check autotrader for similar cars I would've thought? At this age and miles it's all about generals condition and not options.

Road tax immaterial beyond the 1st October.
Possibly one of the best times to sell a quattro with a bad winter forecast :)

If it was taxed pre October can you not sell it on?

Tbh Chris it's in good nick. So I'm expecting a decent price. Only thing I think will bring the value down is the high tax band.

Nope!
I thought I was the last person aware of the changes in the Summer...a quick google reveals all :)
Vehicle tax changes - News stories - GOV.UK (https://www.gov.uk/government/news/vehicle-tax-changes)
So when you sell get to a post office with the seller your V5 get it retaxed and then send V5 off at the same time with the change of keeper.

Don't even need to got to the post office. Jsut send the form back tot he DVLA telling them it is sold and they will refund you the tax. Only for full months so if you sell it on 1st of the month you will not get any refund for that month. When registering purchase of a new car you now have to also pay to tax it at the same time
