its the ultra engine - not driven it yet but drove the old 177 in Feb before I ordered

Extra I got where folding mirrors, HBA, colour display lighting pack and heated seats

I will get some proper SLR pics over the weekend with my camera

It replaced thsi e90 which was a cracking car to be fair and covered 90k in 4 years with no issues at all (pics taken last week)

Snap...I'm loving mine. However, I'm still getting used to the S tronic box, I managed to get in a right muddle at a car park barrier the other day...it took me at least a minute to restart it after it cut out..and I really miss changing down for roundabouts.....

So far cannot get completely comfy, but I think its because the pedals are offset.


Apart from that I am loving the car and it really has some road presence

high beam assist adjustment
Tail lights with DRL
Removed DRL dim on indicating
Turning lamps using all weather lights
Adjusted speed at which parking assist is removed
sweeping gauges
disable seat belt reminders

Cannot get the park brake release without seatbelt enabled though - channel doesn't appear to be there unless is named something different

Cool I will be searching for someone to alter mine in a few weeks once I get it. I read you could get brake lights to flash on hard braking or is this standard?

Be interested to know if you finally do get comfy, and if so how high you have the seat to achieve this.

I've the SE, so different seats, but still struggle to get comfy. I'm starting to put it down to the offset pedals.

I'm not tall, but used to driving cars with the seat as low as possible, in the A6 this doesn't seem right, but too high and you end up feeling you are sitting 'on' the seat rather than in it.

I've ended up about 8-10 'clicks' up from the lowest setting, but still not as comfy as my old Merc - hence the reason I think the offset pedals are the culprit.

I have it on the lowest setting and I am getting there I think it's because I spent 4 years and 90k in a bmw

mrs has a bmw and I think the seat base is deeper - you can sit deeper into the seat which helps. I wish it could go one or 2 clicks lower in the a6 but the quality of the ride far is far better not having runflats


i think it will be fine but the BMW seats seem to have more movement and flexibility in there positions which helps the offset pedals


i have also noticed the footwell is very small in the a6 for such a big car
