New member with gearbox issues

Hi all,
thanks for reading, I have a 2005 1.6 Petrol with the 6 speed box and i am looking to locate a second hand gearbox as the refurb costs seem very high, there aren't many of these around so I am wondering if the part is shared on any other cars in the range?

The input shaft bearing i think, maybe lay shaft bearing?

If it's only bearings I should think it will be cheaper to replace them.
