Hi,

When having a phone conversation (over the cars bluetooth system) is it possible to hear the person you are speaking to over the cars speaker system , instead of the dedicated "phone speaker"- which isn't the best quality .

Maybe this could be achieved via vcds

thanks.

Never heard of a "phone speaker" before, I'm pretty sure mine comes out the drivers door speaker on my A6, same as my A3.

Yes you r right , just tried it again and it comes out of the speaker in the dash on drivers side.

any way to make it come out of all the speakers , not just drivers side ?

Not too sure, if you press TEL then SETUP there should be a setting for Sound Focus or something along those lines, that's me assuming you're using 2G High.

You can choose sound focus "front" or "centre"....

is there any way to get the sound to the rear speakers ?

Don't think so, not sure why you'd want to really.

You're losing quality as you're using the telephone system for something it wasn't designed for.

I Realised that , but good to play around with things.

FYI my 3 month old black edition auto connects to my iPhone and streams music. I'm not sure if this is a new feature of the Audi connect system or if it is an added feature to the inbuilt media player.

Thats a feature of 3G+, not 2G.
