I need help with the bonnet catch on my audi a4

The catch wont work, it will not shut properly and the handle under the steering wheel doesnt do anything

replace the bonnet lock and make sure the cable is located correctly in the release handle, once the lock is replaced flick the lock with a screwdriver to test prior to closing the bonnet

Possibly but in most cases the lock stiffens and the cable comes off from repeated attempts to open the bonnet, see if the cable is still attached to the lock and pull it to see if the lock moves (warning do all this without shutting the bonnet as once shut its a job to open without the cable attached)
