Hi,
I recently got my AC going after major long term issues. I have a 2007 2.0Tdi 140bhp Highline with Climatronic. I replaced the Refridgerant Control Valve RCV and got it regassed and I had lovely cold air blowing from my vents for a few weeks. I will post the full story in a seperate post.
On Friday I had a lot of driving to do. In the morning the AC was blowing cold but later in the day there was little or no air coming from the vents. The fan was running but it appeared that the air was being blocked. I tried playing around with the settings but there was no improvement. Is there a reset that I can perform on this?

Yes, there are basic settings you can do. Thereafter follows a diagnostics test:
Together with Ross-Tech’s Wiki it’s possible to diagnose a faulty Climatronic-fitted component from the code given.
To read these codes press the Re-circ switch and Econ switch together, and then switch on Ign. A re-set of all settings will occur with a graphic on both windows. This should end with either 444 or iO meaning all OK. Otherwise the program will end with one of these error codes in the left-hand window in hex:
Get a copy of my help .doc which has all codes listed, and other stuff. PM me an e-mail address for return attach.

Hi folks,
I'm still having problems with this... I recently had to change the recirculation flap motor as the bearing had seized and it stripped the teeth. It had been making a clicking sound behind the dash on passenger side. It had been giving a 2CC 02h code when I did the diagnostics. This was for the Air Recirculation Flap Motor (V113). RichardSELhelped with the codes... Thanks!.
After changing the flap motor I was still getting the same codes but no I get iO so that's good.
Now I still have the no air problem. The amount of air coming through the vents is minimal and I have to turn it to 29 or Hi heat the cabin. I can hear the fan blowing and it changes speed when I turn the centre knob. I don't have a VAGcom but i have done the diagnostic tests and it seems to go through the cycle and still blows no air. The vents and dash board are heating up but there is no air blowing.
Has anyone had a similar experience? Any advice very welcome in this cold weather..
Thanks.

Could you clarify this?
Does the re-circ button do anything now? It's job is to allow or shut off air from outside coming in

Thanks Richard,
The Recirc button seems to be working fine now. When I changed the flap motor I tested it with the glove box removed and I could see it working.
When I do the tests using the Econ buton and the Recirc button it goes through the process and shows "iO".
I can hear the fan speed changing when I adjust the speed settings.
If I run the fan at top speed and put the air up and air down buttons on I get a small amount of air coming out but it's very little.
Sometimes when I start the car it will blow a decent quantity of air from the vents but after a while driving it seems to stop pumping out air. The windows even fog up a bit sometimes.

Have you changed/checked your cabin air filter behind the glove box? It's a Mann CU 2939/CUK 2939. There should be some foam first.
Fresh out of ideas at this distance.
Otherwise it's to the fan and check the trunking to and from it is in place.
